CAREFUL!

If you use an unlicensed radio, your liability may be engaged in connection      with a club or a professional usage.

Be CAREFUL. 114-146 is a frequency range reserved EXCLUSIVELY for Amateur Radio.

* IMPORTANT NOTICE: The use of the transmitter / receiver must be done according to the laws and aviation regulations applicable in the country of use.

In France : The free flyer person using this transceiver must hold a certificate of radiotelephone operator (or radio-telegraphist)
(for general aviation pilots certificate is usually given along with the license).

This certificate is certified by a card-user license, and is issued after passing an examination conducted by the ANFR (National Agency of Frequencies).

The holder is also assigned a call sign issued by the same administration. (Cost about 80 )

We can not be held liable for a breach of this legislation by the user,

in particular lack of information.

Reminder and Reference to the legislation:

Free flight frequency 143.9875 has been specifically assigned by the government.
It is official and should serve only the safety of pilots.
It was the subject on the part of D.R.G. (Directorate General Regulations) of a circular SP/DRG/R.RS/1 of July 1992, called "Radio equipment transmitting only speak on the frequency 143.9875 MHz exclusively to the practice of free flying - specification of approval ".
It states:

  •  ch.1.2 "equipment used exclusively portable."

  • ch.2.1 "the frequency 143.9875 MHz is reserved exclusively to the practice of free flight."

Any other frequency must be prohibited.
So be careful because we found on the Internet quite a few free-flight clubs that use amateur radio frequencies (located between 144 and 146 MHz) They uses these amateur frequencies or business freq. without any authorisation of use or having declared, nor paid the license .
You are solely responsible for the frequency used.
If someone files a complaint or if you are subject to a control of the police, you will be verbalized and sentenced, as an individual and your club or operator of the area to take off or landing.

UNLICENSED, the frequencies 144-146 and PROS

AND FREQUENCIES PROHIBITED

You must hold and possess the appropriate license for having the right to transmit on frequencies other than the 143.9875 MHz ..
